My journey into massage therapy started after the birth of my son in 2009.  At the time I was working an unfullfilling full time job and I was missing much of my son's very important first year of life. I had heard the adds about being able to work full time and make full time money so I decided to go back to school. And then everything changed. 

I graduated Utah College of Massage Therapy in 2010.  I had fallen in love with Massage Work. I fell in love with helping other people and I fell in love alternative medicine.  I was introduced to some amazing idelogies including engergetic work,  conection of mind body and spirit, and spiritial work.

In the last few years I have began a journey of deep healing for myself with the help of some great mentors and teachers along the way. 

I have had the oppurtunity to work side by side with some amazing chiropractors and have been able to work at some great spas. I learned a great deal and in in the fall on 2016 I decided it was time to expand on my practice and to open my own private practice. 
I wanted to create a place where people be vulnerable and to facilite their own healing journey. 

There are a few things that set Adrianna's Healing Massage apart. First, I use only organic food grade oils. The skin is highly  porous and will absorb anything that you put on it. I won't put anything on my skin that I won't eat and do the same for my massage practice.

Second, when I schedule for X number of minutes, that is the amount of hands on time you will recieve. For a long time the industry standard for a 60 minute massage was between 45-50 minutes of hands on time.  I believe in setting a schedule that allows for plenty of time for in between sessions so you are never rushed. 
Third, I will never charge for an upgrade. Whether you want Deep Tissue or Cupping, I don't belive in charging more for a different modality.  I believe that differnt people respond differently to different modalites and I belive that by keeping the price level, that leaves the oppurtunity for healing for every body. 

The last thing is to make massage available for every body. As a single parent, I know that sometimes financies get in the way of being able to heal. I do offer a sliding scale for those in  a difficult financial time. Just ask for details! I can also accomadate young children in seession, just so long as you can relax!

  Massage has such a wide array of benefits. Massage can help increase circulation, Enhance immunity by stimulating lymph flow—the body's natural defense system, help ease anxiety and depression, help with digestive disorders, insomnia, fibromyalgia, headaches, create body awarness, promote tissue regeneration, reducing scar tissue and stretch marks, and the list goes on. In a world where communites are less connected, we are in a greater need of human connection.
Massage gives you the ablitiy to be vulnerable and welcome a deep sense or relaxation. Stress is rampant in the world and affording a place to relax is becoming difficult.
